Requirements for Participating in the Germany Intercultural High School Student Exchange Program

  • Be between the ages of 15-18
  • Have no failing grades in year-end report cards
  • Be successful in language proficiency tests and interviews
  • Provide references from teachers at school
  • Be able to take responsibility for studying and living abroad

Program Content

Students who are successful in interviews and have language proficiency, along with their parents, have the right to apply for the program after discussions.

The Cultural High School Student Exchange Program fee is paid for the students who win the program.

The Cultural - Student Exchange Program fee must be paid by April 1st of the application year. You can get information from your counselor about payment options.

Not Included in the Program Fee

  • Plane ticket
  • Consular visa fee and visa service fee
  • Personal expenses and other expenses
  • Services not included in the program package

Application deadline: 6 months before the student's departure. It is recommended to apply at least 2 months before this date to complete the procedures, find a place in limited quotas, and benefit from the program under suitable conditions.

Important Reminder: Students participating in the programs must attend the Smart Guide® Certified Orientation Training & Academy to acquire the academic and cultural information necessary for their overseas education.
